OPENING RECEPTION
Saturday, February 27, 6 – 10pm
A potent mix of avians and alcohol: when all the birds are sick and the booze is flowing like a river in your favorite gradeschool drama department production, the End Times are just around the corner.
MARK LEONE lives in Los Angeles with his wife Tracina, and works as an Audio Mixer in The Industry when he’s not flinging paint around. He was inspired to create the bird series after watching pigeons take up residence and have a few babies on his balcony. Twice.
CHRISTINE RHO explores the debaucherous nature of a generation’s impetuous and often lustful desires through stark and grimy depictions of subject matter representative
of such temptations (i.e. BOOZE). She lives in Los Angeles writing, painting, and working as a manager at Denny’s, ocassionally kicking out one-legged offenders with a
penchant for violence.
Come celebrate… it’s our 6th month!
This is a “Private Party” (PRINT THIS & bring it with you if you want to have a glass o’ booze. The city of Sol B is cracking down.)
Show runs: February 26 – March 20, 2010
M – F: 9 – 5; Sat 11 – 4; Sunday by appointment
